How to Deactivate Your Holidu Account & What Happens Next
We’re sorry to hear that you’re considering deactivating your Holidu account, but we’ve made the process as easy as possible. Here’s how you can deactivate your account:
- Log into your Holidu account: Log in for hosts and go to the "Property" section.
- Navigate to the Configuration tab on the left-hand side.
- Scroll down to the bottom left-hand side and click on Advanced Settings.
- In the Advanced Settings section, click on Unpublish.
- Choose a reason for closing your ad and click Unpublish to confirm.
To make sure your property is not available for bookings in the meantime, we recommend manually blocking the calendar.
Once you've submitted your request, our team will take care of deactivating your account for you. If you’d like to speak directly with your local contact person, you can find their contact details in the following section:
- Click on More in the lower right corner of your application or in the upper right corner if you are using your browser to access your Holidu account.
- Select the Contact option: there you will find the possibility of sending us a written request for assistance and all our telephone contacts with their opening hours and days.
What Happens to Your Information After Deactivation
Even after you deactivate your account, Holidu may still need to share data related to any bookings made through our platform. This is necessary to fulfil legal obligations, manage active reservations or check-ins, and address any potential complaints about a booking
Once your property is deactivated, it will no longer be visible on distribution channels, and it won’t be available for new bookings. However, you will still be able to access and view all your account information.
