When Can I Pay after booking on Booking.com?
When Is the Second Payment Due?
- For "Pay Later" bookings, the second payment is charged before check-in or upon arrival, based on the property's policy.
- If your booking is handled via a Virtual Credit Card (VCC), Booking.com manages the charge, and we cannot modify the payment details.
How to check: You can find your payment schedule in your confirmation email or in your Booking.com account under "My Bookings."
Important Note: Some platforms use a buffer period, meaning the charge may be processed a few days before the cancellation policy changes to prevent payment failures.
What If My Payment Fails?
- If the second payment fails, you will receive a notification to update your payment method.
- If the issue is not resolved, the booking may be cancelled.
What to do: If you encounter payment problems, review your confirmation email or contact Booking.com customer support if the payment is being handled by Booking.com, contact Holidu if the payment is being managed by Holidu.
