The ooo Rooftop Restaurant is on top of the Modissa flagship store. It is actually more like a restaurant than a rooftop bar, but you can also go there just for drinks. It is, however, worth trying at least one small dish: The Asian-inspired cuisine is delicious!

2. Hidden Gem Zürich: Babu´s Bakery

This cafe with a charming wooden interior reminds us a bit of a rustic French bakery. You can enjoy typical bakery fare, like croissants and pastries, but also have heartier options like banana pancakes if you’re really hungry. Don´t forget to drink a coffee! They’re known for their good roasts.

3. Hidden Gem Zürich: Frau Gerolds Garden

This odd collection of piled-up containers is a super trendy hangout spot here in Zurich. The small but green oasis offers a cafe, a restaurant and a sprinkling of shops. Some of the veggies and herbs you’ll find in your dish come directly from the restaurant’s urban garden. There is also a Saturday market here on occasion.

4. Hidden Gem Zürich: Frauenbad Zürich

When you’re in Zurich on a hot day, you don’t need to worry about cooling off: the city has lots of outdoor river pools. Keep in mind that the Frauenbad is only for women. So girls: enjoy a cool drink while gabbing with your girlfriends. You’ll also have a unique view of the Grossmünster, Wasserkirche and the surrounding Old Town.
