2. Hidden Gem Valencia: City of Arts and Science
This area is without a doubt one of the most impressive part of Valencia. There are six futuristic buildings, including one with a 3D cinema, a planetarium, exhibitions, an opera house and so on – lots of things to explore! You can also find the largest oceanographic aquarium in Europe there. It’s also nice to come here to do some paddle-boarding in the lake that surrounding the buildings.

3. Hidden Gem Valencia: Bluebell Coffee
This café is one of the best brunch spots in Valencia. The cosy hotspot with a sunny courtyard garden is situated in the Ruzafa neighbourhood, where Valencians love to visit vintage shops and go for drinks in funky bars. The menu changes every week a bit, but for breakfast and brunch you can always choose from different smoothies, an acai bowl, pancake and avocado toast, just to name a few options. Stop by and enjoy the great atmosphere, whether it is just for a quick coffee or a long brunch on a Sunday.

4. Hidden Gem Valencia: Central Market
Foodie heaven! One of the largest indoor markets in all of Europe! The building itself is already super impressive and gives the market a uniquely quirky-but-classic ambiance. If you have the chance to cook something in your vacation rental, definitely go shopping at the Mercado Central and buy some fresh veggies, fruits, and, most importantly, fish.

What’s ia trip to Spain without tapas? Tanto Monta is for sure one of the best tapas places in Valencia. Mouth-watering food, good service, reasonable prices. 6. Hidden Gem Valencia: Centre del Carme Cultura
If you fancy a little bit of culture, make sure to stop by the Centre del Carme. Its building is a beautiful and recently-restored convent with two old courtyards. The impressive venue itself is an excellent reason to visit this institution, but there are also fantastic temporary exhibitions that focus on contemporary and regional art. It is within walking distance from the central market of Valencia, so check it out after a little stroll at the market. And the best part? There is no entry fee!

7. Hidden Gem Valencia: La Más Bonita
If you are looking for a breakfast or lunch near the beach, this is the place to go. La más Bonita has two locations – one with gorgeous Mediterranean sea views in Patacona and one located in the hip neighborhood of Russafa, near the city center. The interior follows a white and sky-blue colour scheme that invites you to relax. On the menu you will find delicious cakes, sandwiches, salads, bites to share and fresh juices. How about a bread with creamy cheese, honey, red berries and walnuts? All natural and so well presented that you could nearly eat it with your eyes. We simply love the atmosphere and the modern-vintage ambiance.

It doesn’t matter which day of the week it is, there is no bad day to eat a delicious pizza, especially when Del Poble Pizzeria is around. This restaurant should be without a doubt your go-to spot in Valencia, when your pizza cravings are starting to kick in. They are prepared with delicious local fresh ingredients.
