In the cultural heart of Bali: In Ubud, everything is about yoga, food and art. Explore the awesome little village with us! In our travel guide you will find great things to do in Ubud.

1. Hidden Gem Ubud: Clear Cafe

The perfect mixture of contemporary and Balinese interior creates an atmosphere of elegance and coziness . Clear Cafe is a restaurant where you could spend the whole day. The menu is very mixed up so everybody has the chance to find something that suits their tastes. Our tip: on the upper floor you can find a great massage studio with really good service! Book a massage package in advance and have delicious lunch after.

2. Hidden Gem Ubud: Campuhan Walk

This is a beautiful paved walk along the Campuhan Ridge. The perfect time to start is right after the sunset as there are not many trees to provide shade. The scenery of jungle, forest and rice terraces is really worth the hike. The road is slightly uphill all the way, but is still comfortable. After walking for awhile you will come to the typical rest point “Karsa Kafe” and get the chance to grab a chilled smoothie or coffee.

3. Hidden Gem Ubud: Lazy Cats Cafe

This spot is more like a big living room than a typical coffee shop. You can take a sit on one of the “granny” sofas or on the little balcony. The menu is small, but of course they have the essentials like avocado toast and wraps. This place is so comfy that you really wanna be a “lazy cat” and hang out here for the whole day and drink smoothie after smoothie.

4. Hidden Gem Ubud: Rice terrace Tegalalang

The rice fields are definitely a must see when you visit Ubud. You can just stroll around, take some pictures and have a coffee or ice cream in the middle of the rice terrace. The atmosphere is great and it´s so much fun to just walk around and explore. The layers of the rice plants look almost like a big, green, layer-cake. It is about a 25 minutes ride with a scooter or taxi from Ubud and we would really recommend going there during the morning as the heat is unbearable during midday.
