Everything on the menu is gluten free, you can add all kinds of superfood to your smoothie, get a healing shot or sip on a coconut latte (with the best coconut milk in the world). 2. Hidden Gem Tulum: Papaya Playa Project
If you want to spend a nice day in a beach club, this is the place to be. Here you have a variety of options in regards to how you can spend some relaxing hours. If you want to soak up the sun and stay close to the ocean, relax on the beach beds. For a little bit more shade, you can also hang out in the hammocks. If you get thirsty, the double-decker bar with a great view provides delicious drinks. On the weekend, the “club” area becomes more alive. They host late night events with live sets played by international musicians and DJs touring around Mexico.

3. Hidden Gem Tulum: Alaya Tulum Yoga
If you want to do something for your body and your mind during your stay in Tulum, try out yoga at the Alaya Tulum Hotel. It is an eco-conscious beach hotel and their Yoga Shala is really just a few steps away from the ocean. The jungle feeling and the sound of exotic birds will guide your session. They offer two classes a day with different styles of yoga including Hatha, Vinyasa Flow and Power. One in the morning and one in the evening. The teachers are very kind, take their time to greet each student, and tailor the class to meet each student’s level. You can also check out their healing sound workshops. Taking part in the class is free -you can donate as much as you want.

4. Hidden Gem Tulum: Gitano
There are so many good restaurants, cafes and bars in Tulum, it is hard to decide where to go first. But Gitano should definitely be on your list. A fluorescent pink sign marks its entrance and a huge, sparkling disco ball hangs from the trees inside. You already know that you are entering a great place! Gitano is a mixture of restaurant, mezcal bar and a dance floor. Bulb lights hang from the trees and small white candles cover nearly every table, which creates a romantic and cozy setting. Simply enjoy the open-air, retro-inspired lounge in the jungle with good food and drinks.
