2. Hidden Gem Montreal: Biosphere
Biosphere is a museum dedicated to the environment and is one of the architectural landmarks from the Expo in 1967, the most successful World’s Fair of the 20th century. There are a variety of permanent exhibits located both inside and outside this gigantic steel tube dome, which in itself is quite an impressive statement. The exhibitions all speak to building a greener and cleaner future and will help to foster a deep connection to the Earth we all love to live on.

3. Hidden Gem Montreal: Café Melbourne
Open since 2012, Café Melbourne has introduced the Australian cafe culture to Canada. The café is a highly popular spot for brunch. It is a bright space with thoughtful coffee and Aussie specialties within a laid-back atmosphere. They became famous over Instagram with their “Lucky Charms Latte” – a latte made with Lucky Charms cereal infused milk and topped with a handful of the colourful breakfast morsels. They also offer red (beetroot), yellow (turmeric) and green (matcha) lattes. For breakfast lovers there is everything your heart could desire: from avocado toast, to porridge as well as eggs and bacon. To get there get off at STM Station Mont-Royal and walk.

No city trip is complete without a rooftop terrace! Located in the heart of old Montreal, you will find the lovely rooftop bar, Terrasse Place D’Armes, an urban oasis and a true summer destination. It is not only great for refreshing cocktails, but also for a weekday lunch or dinner. Head over and enjoy the incredible view of the downtown skyline that makes Place d’Armes a must.
