Germany's only oyster farm, the Dittmeyers Oyster Company, is located in List. The company was founded in the 1920s. Today Dittmeyer's oysters are delivered to many delicatessens and restaurants throughout the country. By the way, you can dine excellently in the famous Gosch, the northernmost fish stand in Germany.
Christmas in ListThe Lister Christmas Market is organized by the spa administration and always takes place on the first Advent weekend. There will be arts and crafts stands as well as Christmas punch and culinary delights. There is also an entertaining programme with dance, music and a big tombola.
