This protected nature reserve on the western side of town hosts a three mile hiking trail which offers an easy way to escape the crowds, and you may even see a deer or two along the way.

The resort's main golfing attraction is an excellent challenge for players of all levels, stretching over 6,569 yards. Club rental and carts are available, and it's right at the center of town.

Located just a mile or two from the main resort, the Grand River offers miles of unspoiled, tranquil canoeing. Head to Grand River Canoe Livery to hire a boat for the day.

A must-see for all visitors, the Strip is the entertainment hub of Geneva-on-the-Lake, and hosts everything from craft ale bars to gourmet restaurants, penny arcades, and nightclubs. 1950s style bar Eddie's Grill is a particular local favorite.

The best time to arrange a vacation rental in Geneva-on-the-Lake is probably summer, which tends to last from around mid-June through September. Expect temperatures at the height of summer to top 80 degrees on a regular basis. But if you want to dodge the crowds, the shoulder seasons work too, and fall can be a wonderful time to explore the State Park. Even winter has activities like ice fishing and skating to offer, and visitors arrive all year-round.

Geneva-on-the-Lake has a busy events schedule which hardly lets up throughout the year. Highlights include the Celtic Feis, which celebrates Irish culture in August, September's “Grape Jamboree”, and Labor Day's “Thunder on the Strip” - one of America's leading biker rallies.
