Lithuania is the southernmost of the three Baltic states. Lithuania borders the Baltic Sea to the west. Other neighbouring countries are Latvia, Belarus, a little Poland and the Russian enclave around Kaliningrad. If you visit the city of Kaunas, you must visit the Devil's Museum. Since the devil plays an important role in Lithuanian mythology, a separate museum is dedicated to him here. There are also many devil statues and images throughout the country.

This Catholic place of pilgrimage is located about 12 km north of Siauliai and is characterized by tourism. A narrow wooden staircase leads over the double hill on which tens of thousands of pilgrim crosses are placed. For tourists there is a breathtaking view of this sea of crosses.

Those who go on holiday in Lithuania will soon notice that on every corner products made of amber or individual amber stones are for sale or at least exhibited for admiration. They are probably the most common souvenir in the Baltic States, even though most of these stones come from Kaliningrad.
