While beer drinkers can also look forward to the beer festival in Dignano in July, wine lovers will get their money's worth at the summer festival in Montegnacco di Cassacco and the Friuli Collinare event in Udine in September.

The Romans also left their traces in this region. One of the most impressive sites is in Aquileia, where the ruins of a Roman forum and the National Archaeological Museum of Aquileia await you.
