A small seaside town on the Planargia plateau between woods and hills, along the west coast of Sardinia, Bosa is in the province of Oristano. This place enjoys a pleasant Mediterranean climate, characterised by mild and humid winters and hot and dry summers.

It stands on the heights of the hill of the same name and was built at the behest of the Malaspina from the second half of the thirteenth century: within its walls is the church of Nostra Signora de Sos Regnos Altos.

It is housed in a nineteenth century building and houses products of local craftsmanship and a collection of ceramics and paintings made by the artist Melkiorre Melis.
