In the zoo you can admire lynxes, wolverines, brown bears, polar bears and wolves in their natural environment. A total of about 50 animal species can be found here during a refreshing walk in the open air. The zoo was founded in 1983 and can be easily reached by bus. The Ranua Game Park is located about an hour south of Rovaniemi and is the world's northernmost zoo.
