Brand is a community of about 700 inhabitants in the southwest of Vorarlberg, more precisely in the district of Bludenz. The mountain village lies at an altitude of 1,037 metres in the so-called Brandnertal, one of the most beautiful high mountain valleys in the Eastern Alps. In addition to alpine landscapes, the surroundings are also characterised by dense forests.

Take a look at the remains of the city fortifications from the 15th to 17th centuries, such as the tower of the parish church, the two gates, the Capuchin monastery, the Dominican monastery of St. Peter and the hospital church. Also worth seeing is the town hall from the year 1640.
