This impressive greenhouse is located right in the middle of the Garden Society of Gothenburg park. The warm temperature inside, as well as the exotic plants create a kind of tropical vacation feeling if you’re looking for a break from the rainy weather in Göteborg. Just walk around, explore and enjoy. The greenhouse is open everyday from 10AM to 4PM.

2. Hidden Gem Göteborg: Day Spa
If you want a little relaxing day outside the city center, the Art Garden Spa is perfect for you. There is a great view of the sea that can be enjoyed while lying in the whirlpool. You have the choice between different saunas, a steam bath, a relaxing room and an both and indoor and outdoor pool. During your day trip you can also book a massage or make brunch reservations before heading to the pool. It´s about half an hour by car from the city center and you pay around 40 Euro for half a day at the spa.

3. Hidden Gem Göteborg: Saluhallen
Saluhallen is the biggest indoor market in town. It was built back in the late 1800s. It´s great for strolling around and sampling Swedish specialities. The hall is full of great stands – you’ll find people selling meat and charcuterie, pastries and fresh cheese.. Our tip: Buy some goodies here for a picnic at the waterfront. Keep in mind that the market is closed on Sunday.

4. Hidden Gem Göteborg: Café Husaren
Best place for a “Fika.” Fika is a Swedish tradition that describes the practice of having coffee with pastries. Kanelbulle, a huge cinnamon bun, is particularly common for “Fika.” If you want to eat the biggest Kanelbulle you’ll ever see, the Husaren Café in Haga is the place to be. It´s incredibly good! The closest station is Hagakyrkan.
