The church has a museum attached to it with some incredible pieces to capture on camera, such as a baptismal font in the shape of a cross.

Parikia is the capital of Paros and its main harbour is one of the necessary stops on your visit. This place is really charming, it is a whole labyrinth of streets and passages that are exposed in marble and accompanied by Cycladic houses that have a peculiar cube shape with its well-known blue color on the doors and wide balconies and beautiful shutters... This port is unmissable!

Paros has a mountainous center that you will surely love, and that is Lefkes, this village is gorgeous and sits on a hillside at 300 meters above sea level. Here, it's best to explore the area on foot, so you can wander through the beautiful little alleys and squares that accompany pine trees with tavernas and a few traditional bakeries for delicious snacks. We recommend you start your visit with the Church of Agia Triada, this was built in Parian marble, it is spectacular because it has some valuable Byzantine icons to appreciate.

Paros has a beautiful harbour called the Old Port of Naoussa, and one of the most beautiful features of it is its small rectangular harbour guarded by the Venetian fort. You will be enchanted by all this scenery: small fishing boats sit next to the tiny docks, all just a few steps away from many restaurants serving the best Greek meals by the sea or in the square. It's so picturesque, and the sunsets are beautiful, you can't miss this harbour!

Around the bay in Parikia, you have one of the best beaches on the island. It has a crescent of white sand with masses of water that look like a swimming pool and an incredible waiter service, yes, we are talking about Marcello Beach. Here, the sea is very calm, so it's ideal for bringing small children and for couples to enjoy enchanting views with this radiant sea and all the mountainous surroundings.

The Aï-Yannis Detis peninsula has become a cultural and recreational park for tourists. From Naoussa, you can see the most beautiful trails that will give you a whole walkthrough of rocks formed in extravagant ways, all accompanied by caves, a lighthouse, and also some hidden coves that will ignite in you that adventurous spirit. The hills are based on grasses and wildflowers that also give you a panorama of the bay of Naoussa, not to be missed!

You'll be delighted to know that this town once served as a trading port in Venetian times, and due to the threat of the Ottoman Empire, Crusinus I Sommaripa built a fort that served as protection for the entire territory, the Venetian Castle of Naoussa. This circular tower, still standing today, can be reached on foot and there are several areas where you can take beautiful photographs and admire the blue and white waterfront of Naoussa.

Well, you know the island's history is well-known! So visiting a museum that gives you a clearer picture of what the history of Paros has been like is really necessary and interesting. A visit to the Archaeological Museum is a priority, especially if you like to learn about Ancient Greece. Its structure has two halls and a courtyard, among them Archaic and Classical sculptures, as well as pottery and other interesting finds from the Neolithic to the Roman period. Outside this, you will see a lapidarium, which has funerary friezes, as well as accompanying architectural pieces, urns, and a Roman mosaic.
