If you want an admirable place for your eyes and your senses, this is it. It is a volcano located on the western coast of the island of Faial. It is the product of an eruption that occurred in 1957 and enlarged the earth. You will see a lunar landscape and next to it there is a lighthouse and a viewpoint from where you can see the crater. It can be easily reached by car via the circular road.

Located on the island of La Graciosa, the thermal baths were discovered in 1750. Today they are part of a small thermal center that offers therapeutic baths with the properties of the water. You can enjoy spectacular natural pools that feed this spa through springs with water that gush at 45º. Its waters are rich in chlorate, sodium, sulphated and calcium.

This place is recognized as a Regional Monument of the Azores Islands. It has very varied and exotic vegetation and enjoying the place is the only thing you have to do. Strolling you get to the pools of hot springs, perfect for taking a bath and enjoying its small waterfall. Don't miss the pond where you can watch the water boil. Of course, the smell of sulfur is brutal, but it soon passes as it is a wonder of nature.

A different place to say the least. You don't always have the opportunity to visit a volcano from within. It is essential if you go to the island of Terceira. This algar was formed by the lava on its way out to the surface, leaving an impressive cave. The lake inside, the vegetation and the light that comes in is a sight that is hard to forget. You have already been warned, you will not be able to stop taking photos!

This destination is located on Pico Island, it is nothing more and nothing less than the highest mountain in Portugal with 2,531 meters. From its top, you can see the islands of Graciosa, San Jorge, Faial and Terceira. Of course, to reach its top before you will have to do a steep trek, the unevenness is 1,200 m. Approximately 3 hours long. Come and visit this majestic place!
