Experienced hikers can embark on a multi-day backpacking adventure, making the proper reservations and permits required to stay in the backcountry. Reservations and permits are required for all overnight stays in the park's backcountry and open to availability depending on climate conditions and season. One of these tips will be to have some registered bear pepper spray at all times for protection against aggressive wildlife but never applied on people or objects.
