The current building dates back to the 18th century and was extensively renovated in 2021 while retaining the historic structure. There has been evidence of an inn since the 16th century. From the Bären you have direct access to numerous premium hiking trails, which will surprise you with magnificent views and are among the most beautiful that the Black Forest has to offer. The entire ZweiTälerLand, consisting of the Elztal and Simonswäldertal valleys, has over 800 km of perfectly signposted hiking trails to make the hearts of hikers and explorers beat faster. The ZweiTälerLand is one of four "Wanderbares Deutschland" quality regions. The "ZweiTälerStreig" trail here was even named "Germany's most beautiful hiking trail" in 2019. The large vacation apartment (94 m²) has a modern kitchen including dining area on the first floor, a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with bunk beds and another double bed on the 2nd floor, from where you can also reach the loggia with a perfect view. The bathroom with shower and WC is located on the 1st floor. The apartment can accommodate a maximum of 6 people. Coffee machine, hairdryer, magic wand, vacuum cleaner and bed linen are provided.
