The GÜNTER is one of our tiny houseboats with a roof terrace, built on site according to ecological standards using local timber. GÜNTER has everything you need for a short - or long - harbor vacation: a cosy living area with a wood-burning stove, a well-equipped kitchenette, a shower room, a 1.60 m wide bed on the mezzanine and a fold-out sofa bed. This makes it perfect for 2-4 people. Dogs are welcome on board and WLAN is available free of charge.
This tiny houseboat has an open living area of around 18 square meters, while the higher sleeping level offers an additional 5 square meters of space. The houseboat belongs to Julius, on whose behalf we built it according to ecological standards and for whom we are now renting it out.
Julius has furnished the interior comfortably: You can relax wonderfully on the sofa, but also sleep (1.30 m wide when folded out). Floor-to-ceiling windows provide an unobstructed view of the water and the terrace, which is directly adjacent to the living area and invites you to enjoy breakfast in the sun. On the upper sleeping level, a 1.60 m wide mattress offers great sleeping comfort.
The kitchenette is equipped with a sink, an induction hob (two hotplates), a fridge with freezer compartment and all the kitchen utensils you need for easy cooking. There is a porcelain filter and filter papers for making coffee.
The bathroom has a full-size shower and a water closet.
If it gets hot in summer, you can open the many windows to create a draught, while the wood-burning stove and electric underfloor heating provide warmth and comfort on cold days.
From the roof terrace, you can watch the goings-on in the Diamantgraben, a short branch of the Elbe: When the weather is fine, a sports boat or canoe passes by and the odd duck can also be seen. Four sun loungers on the roof terrace invite you to relax.
On this tiny houseboat you can let the sun shine on your belly, have deep conversations on balmy summer evenings, enjoy being in silence, pop champagne corks with a laugh - simply experience something completely different, a special vacation, a little break from everyday life. You can also go swimming right on site.
On the courtyard, across which you walk to the jetty with the houseboats, high-quality houseboats are built by hand from wood and according to ecological standards. You will often meet carpenters and boat enthusiasts on the premises. You don't have to talk to anyone, but if you want to, you can quickly strike up a conversation. Sometimes you can hear construction noise. The surroundings are very green, but it is still Hamburg; there is a railroad bridge nearby, which you can hear more or less strongly depending on the direction of the wind. (Most people don't mind the noise).
