It is about 2 km from the lake and is located about 200 metres above Lake Millstatt.

On this plateau, also known as the sunny plateau, very good air quality is guaranteed and you can enjoy the wonderful hours of sunshine all day long. Obermillstatt is known for its wonderful, Mediterranean feel-good climate south of the Alps.

Or you can take a day trip to the Adriatic Sea, about 200 km away.
In winter, the ski resorts Sportberg Goldeck, Bad Kleinkirchheim, Katschberg, Gerlitzen and of course the famous Mölltal Glacier (accessible all year round) and others are within easy reach.
