Surrounded by wooded hills with a beautiful view of the Flossenbürger castle ruins, our campsite offers ideal conditions for a relaxing holiday and active leisure activities. Our terraced campsite, which is open all year round, has 200 pitches and is located on the 9-hectare Gaisweiher natural bathing lake of the same name. In addition to caravan pitches, we also offer tent pitches on a separate campsite, a flat and sleeping barrels. Holidays in the state-recognised resort of Flossenbürg! Beautifully situated, our campsite has direct access to the lake. Rowing boats and rubber dinghies are permitted. The spacious sunbathing lawn has a beach volleyball court, a fitness trail and an adventure playground for children. A very well-developed network of hiking and cycling trails provides hikers with direct access to the idyllic Upper Palatinate Forest. For active sports enthusiasts, the resort offers access to a Nordic walking network with routes of between 2.7 and 10.3 km.Dogs are not allowed in the water, but are permitted on the grounds of the leisure centre (on a lead). The sleeping barrels are a highlight. These can be hired and make your camping trip an unforgettable experience.

Conditions/Extras
Payment is made in cash on site or by card (EC card, Visa and Mastercard, Diner'sClub, Discover). An advance payment of 25% of the total price may be charged at any time after booking. Cancellations up to 30 days before arrival are free of charge. Later cancellations up to the 21st day before arrival will be charged at 25% of the total price, up to the 14th day at 50%, up to the 7th day at 75% and less than 7 days at 90%. In the event of no-show without prior cancellation, 100% will be charged.

Description of the unit
100 pitches for transit campers and pure nature all around. The highlight: free access to the bathing lake and bathing area for everyone. Even if you are a camping guest with us. And we really mean it! On our campsite you will also find electricity and water points at intervals of approx. 30 metres. You can draw electricity using a CEE plug. Our power boxes are fused with 16 amps. If you need an adapter, you can purchase one at reception. WLAN is also available on our pitch. Dogs are allowed (on a lead). Barbecues are also permitted on the campsite with a suitable barbecue. Barbecues are not permitted in the bathing area. Please note: Our campsite is open all year round! It is possible to arrive with a caravan or motorhome. Of course also with a VW bus or similar. Two-wheelers, whether on motorbike or bicycle, are very welcome. A separate campsite with sanitary facilities is available for you from April to October.

Conditions/Extras
All prices are inclusive of statutory tax, plus the actual electricity and shower charges incurred. Please also note our general terms and conditions and cancellation conditions, which are available at www.freizeit-gaisweiher.de. Errors, misprints and price changes for the coming season reserved. Our rental properties (barrels, flats), pitches and tent pitches are ready for occupancy from 15:00 on the day of arrival. For check-in you will receive an e-mail or mobile phone message with a pin number for the key safe on the day of arrival. This contains the check-in documents (pitch plan, sanitary access cards, registration form, etc.). Check-out for pitches and tent pitches must take place by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure, the pitch must be vacated by 1:00 p.m. at the latest. Pets are allowed (EUR 5.00 per pet/night). A tourist tax of EUR 1.00 (from 16 years) or EUR 0.50 (6 - 15 years) will be charged separately on site.
