Casa Lion in Burgen is a hillside vacation home overlooking the Moselle River, which will be completed in late 2021 and has two residential units. The vacation apartments DMO129 and DMO130 are suitable for allergy sufferers, have high-quality furnishings and can also be booked together to use the house for yourself. In addition to the private balcony in terrace form, a third terrace is currently being built in the lower area, which is available for communal use.
The location in the village of Burgen offers many opportunities to explore the surrounding area with interesting cities such as Cochem, Boppard and Koblenz or hiking tours over the Moselhöhenweg, in the Baybachtal or even to the hanging rope bridge Geierlay. Castles, palaces and monasteries can also be explored and sports enthusiasts will also find a variety of opportunities in the area. A marina with excursion boats is only 6.2 km away. The wine village of Burgen itself offers nice restaurants and wine taverns in winding old town alleys above the Lower Moselle.
The vacation apartment with gallery has a ground-level (the house Casa Lion is built on a slope) access and is therefore also barrier-free. You enter the apartment via a small hallway and reach the light-flooded living/dining area. Your gaze will certainly be attracted by the large panoramic windows in the living/dining area, which offer a fantastic view of the Moselle. The kitchen is tastefully equipped with all necessary appliances and the dining area built in front of it is not only suitable for meals, but also offers space to play and work. Next to the kitchen is the space-saving staircase up to the loft, where there is a bedroom for children up to 12 years, as well as space for playing or as a retreat. From the living area you can enjoy both the fantastic view, or cozy evenings in front of the electric fireplace with heating function. A hallway then leads on to the sleeping area with two bedrooms, each equipped with a double bed and smart TV. One bedroom has an attached bathroom, while the other is accessible via the hallway. There is a third smart TV in the living room and free Wi-Fi rounds out the digital amenities. Heating foils are installed in the wall, floor or ceiling. These can be controlled individually for each room and provide a healthy, extremely pleasant warmth in the apartment.
