Enjoy a relaxing stay in our holiday home in Pedreira, Nordeste, Sao Miguel. Sao Miguel is the largest and greenest of the nine islands of the Azores archipelago in the northern Atlantic Ocean. With a latitude of 37°48' north, Sao Miguel lies at the same latitude as Sicily, but enjoys a pleasantly balanced Atlantic climate. Administratively, the Azores form an autonomous region of Portugal, the Região Autónoma dos Açores, and are therefore part of the European Union. The international airport in Ponta Delgada is located on Sao Miguel. Cheap hire cars can be booked here. From Ponta Delgada, the island's capital, it is just under 60 minutes by car on very well-maintained roads to the east of the island to Pedreira, Nordeste and to our holiday home. It stands on a 600sqm plot above the centre of Pedreira.
The typical stone house, built before 1951, offers space for 2 people in a double room. The front door leads directly into the cosy living and dining area of the house. To the left of the living and dining area is the fully equipped kitchen, which is made from natural Azorean wood. In the living and dining room there is a dining table, a living room cupboard, a Swedish stove, a pull-out sofa and an internet-enabled TV. To the right of the living and dining room is a small corridor from which the bathroom and bedroom branch off. Floor-to-ceiling windows from both the living room and the bedroom offer fantastic views over the sea.

Parking spaces are available slightly below the house directly on the access road. There is also a car park behind the house up the slope. This is particularly suitable for experienced drivers. You should bring a little fitness with you, as the access to the house is on a slope.
From the terrace, the Jacuzzi platform below the terrace and from all rooms, there is a gigantic view over the ever lush green island landscape and the glittering sea. Relax on the large panoramic terrace or in the jacuzzi/whirlpool after adventurous hikes to waterfalls, secluded bays or along the wild coasts of the island. On the approx. 40 square metre terrace there is an outdoor barbecue, terrace furniture, a parasol and sun loungers. In front of the terrace there is a lawn of approx. 500 square metres, which also belongs to the property and can be used. Parking spaces are available slightly below the house on the access road.
