The holiday home Wackerama in Gelting offers you a direct and unobstructed panoramic view of the Baltic Sea with a guarantee of magnificent sunsets. It is the perfect starting point for your beach holiday, water sports or long walks through the Geltinger Birk nature reserve.

The holiday home "Wackerama" is a beautiful, high-quality equipped, light-flooded holiday home for up to 6 people, built in Danish style and on 2 floors on a spacious garden plot. In addition to the guests, your dog or other pets are of course also very welcome. The house is located in the first row in Wackerballig and offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the sea....now you also understand how the house name WACKERAMA came about.
The well-tended sandy beach and the well-known surf and kite spot are only an incredible 20 metres away, rigging is easy in your own garden. With its very wide, shallow shore area, the beach also offers safe bathing fun for smaller children. Further kilometres of fine sandy natural beaches, which are only moderately frequented even in summer, can be found within easy cycling distance on the other side of the Birk.
The modern furnishings and the light, wood-panelled walls and sloping ceilings give the house a cosy and friendly atmosphere. You can enjoy the summer evenings even longer on the spacious wooden terrace or the covered loggia on the upper floor. From here you have a wonderful view of Geltingen Bay and breathtaking sunsets. On cooler evenings, you can cosy up in the living room in front of the fireplace with a good book or in front of the flat-screen TV with an exciting DVD film. Of course, our house also has free WiFi.
From the living room, dining table, kitchen and bedroom you have a wonderful sea view of the Baltic Sea through floor-to-ceiling windows. The open-plan kitchen with a granite cooking island is equipped with everything you need.
After a day in the fresh air, you can pamper yourself with an underwater massage in the whirlpool or a sauna session. From the living room you have access to the terrace overlooking the beach. Here you can enjoy the view while sunbathing or spend a cosy barbecue evening with friends and family. The bedrooms offer excellent sleeping comfort with three spacious, 1.80 metre wide box-spring double beds. The two large bedrooms under the roof each offer a single bed in two separate and cosy sleeping alcoves and are therefore ideal for parents with smaller children.

You can reach the beautiful, unspoilt Geltinger Birk nature and bird sanctuary with its diverse flora and fauna in just a few minutes on foot. Explore this paradise for water birds, wild horses and Highland cattle on various walking routes. Guided landscape tours, NABU bird tours, lectures and wild horse tours are also regularly offered here.
Also, the almost unlimited water sports options are just a stone's throw away: for those who like it more sporty, the "in-house" surf school just 300 metres away offers courses for windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing and stand-up paddling as well as the corresponding rental equipment.
The Geltinger Bucht also offers a wonderful area for all sailing enthusiasts! The marina is only a 3-minute walk away. Use the harbour with its guest berths as a starting point for unforgettable sailing trips.
Interesting for anglers: the area with its numerous shallows is known for its cod, flatfish and sea trout. Herring and garfish in spring and mackerel in summer/autumn always bring variety.
For horse enthusiasts there is the possibility to go horseback riding on the beach or carriage rides.

Bed linen and towels can be provided on site by prior arrangement for €15 (small package) or €18 (large package) per person.
