The village of Groß Zicker, which is located on the south side of the so-called Zicker Alps, belongs to the municipality of Gager. These green ridges, up to 66 metres high, are part of the Southeast Rügen Biosphere Reserve and are farmed with sheep.
The breathtaking surroundings will not only make the hearts of nature lovers beat faster. Whether relaxation or adventure, there is something for everyone here.
The beautiful beach on the east coast between Lobbe and Thiessow is only about 2 km away and can be easily reached by bike (about 10 minutes) or by car (plenty of parking).
Every year numerous harbour festivals, sailing regattas and much more take place in Gager and make the holiday something very special even for our little guests. Nobody gets bored here.
