Located in the wonderful scenery of Ruka, the little cabin is suitable for cabin life or as a base for nature walkers, fishermen and skiers. Built in 1995, the lovely log cottage is located on the shore of Lake Iso-Veskajärvi (not an actual beach), at the end of the road, in your own peace.


The cottage has been completely renovated during the years 2023–2024. Keloveska's kitchen has a refrigerator, an electric oven and an induction hob with two stoves, and the fireplace adds atmosphere to the room. Extendable sofa bed for two people (bed size approx. 150x203). Electric heater in the sauna, shower and toilet in the bathroom. There is an open porch in front of the cottage and a campfire place at the beach.


The distance from the cottage to the fishy Iso-Veskajärvi is about 30 meters. In winter, Ruka's ski trail network can be accessed from the vicinity of the cottage (next to the road leading to the cottage).

The neighboring cottage Pelkkaveska (2 persons + 2 persons) is located about 100 meters from Keloveska on the same plot; by booking both cottages, up to 6 people can be accommodated in total. The rowing boat is shared.


Bookings start at 16:00 and end at 12:00 on the day of departure (including weekend bookings). We recommend ordering final cleaning.
