Information about the host
The thatched "Haus am Wattenmeer" is located directly on the Wadden Sea of Steenodde on Amrum, the smallest village on the island of Amrum. There is a restaurant in the village and a farm shop in the neighbouring village of Süddorf. Further shopping facilities are available in Wittdün or Nebel. Steenodde does not have a bus service. The nearest bus stop is in Süddorf (approx. 1 km away). Steenodde has a small beach, swimming is possible depending on the tide. The large Kniepsand beach is approx. 2km away. It is only a few steps from the house to the small dyke and the Wadden Sea. A large garden belongs to the house, which is used communally, garden tables and chairs are available.
Conditions/Extras
Towels, bed linen and final cleaning are included in the accommodation price. Tourist tax is charged extra. One dog is allowed. WiFi is offered as a free service, but there is no guarantee of availability.

Ferry crossing from Dagebüll (car ferry, journey time approx. 120 min.) Information at www.faehre.de or passenger ferry from Nordstrand or Hönrum Sylt (April - October) Information at www.adler-schiffe.de After the ferry arrives in Wittdün/Amrum, follow the island road for approx. 3 km to Süddorf, where you turn right into Hark-Olufs-Wai to Steenodde. After about 1 km you reach Steenoode, follow the road to the bend and turn right there and take the first entrance on the left to Haus am Wattenmeer No. 22 (follow the course of the stone wall to the car park of the house). Your hosts will be waiting for you there to hand over the keys to house no. 22. The flat is available from 4.00 pm on the day of arrival and until 10.00 am on the day of departure. If you arrive without a car, a transfer by the host is possible by prior arrangement.

It has a living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and hallway. Living room with couch, 2 armchairs, coffee table, living room cupboard and TV, floor covering: vinyl parquet. Kitchen with 4-ring ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge, coffee machine, toaster, crockery and house, dining area with 4 chairs, floor covering: tiles. Bedroom I: double bed (2x90x200cm), bedside tables, wardrobe, floor covering: vinyl parquet. Bedroom II: double bed (2x90x200cm), bedside tables, wardrobe, floor covering: vinyl parquet. Bathroom I: shower, WC, washbasin, floor covering: tiles. Bathroom II: shower, WC, washbasin, floor covering: tiles. Hallway with wardrobe. A cot (children age max. 2 years) can be provided for bedroom 1.
