Senior DevOps Engineer (all genders)

    •   Leadership & Ownership: Lead end-to-end projects, from ideation to deployment, ensuring smooth execution and delivery. Take ownership of DevOps systems, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and secure.

    •    Infrastructure as Code: Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or similar technologies to enable efficient resource provisioning and management.

    •    Cloud Management: Lead the management and optimization of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, Elasticache, etc.), ensuring system performance, availability, and cost-effectiveness. Guide and help teams to implement cloud best practices.

    •    Kubernetes & Container Management: Oversee Kubernetes clusters, ensuring optimal configuration, scaling, maintenance, and troubleshooting to support high-availability applications. Provide guidance on containerization strategies and microservices architecture.

    •    CI/CD Pipelines: Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless software delivery with a focus on automation, security, and scalability. Lead the design and setup of CI/CD solutions, and help teams adopt best practices for efficient deployments.

    •    Monitoring & Observability: Implement and manage monitoring and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, thanos) to ensure comprehensive visibility into system health, performance, and security.

    •    Logging & Security: Lead the setup and maintenance of logging solutions (e.g., Elastic Stack, OpenSearch) to centralize log management and proactively identify and address vulnerabilities.

    •    Cost Optimization: Drive cost optimization strategies for cloud infrastructure, working closely with teams to identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising performance or security.

    •    Automation & Scripting: Automate complex workflows and processes using scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Shell to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

    •    Cross-team Collaboration & Best Practices: Coordinate with multiple teams (development, security, operations) to ensure smooth operations and align on best practices for system design, security, and automation. Provide guidance to junior and mid-level engineers, helping them grow in their DevOps capabilities.

    •    Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, performance, and scalability. Drive the adoption of new tools, technologies, and methodologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving environment.

    •    Mentorship & Guidance: Mentor junior and intermediate engineers, providing technical leadership, guidance, and ensuring adherence to best practices.

•    8+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or a similar role, with a strong track record of managing complex cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.

    •    Expert-level experience with AWS services (EC2, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, etc.) and infrastructure management.

    •    Strong hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration technologies.

    •    Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (terraform, pulumi, AWS CDK).

    •    Extensive experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) and pipeline design.

    •    Proficiency with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana with a focus on creating highly observable systems.

    •    Proven expertise in managing logging and log aggregation systems (e.g., Elastic Stack, OpenSearch).

    •    Strong scripting skills (Python, Shell, Bash) to automate operational processes and improve workflows.

    •    In-depth understanding of system security best practices and proactive vulnerability management.

    •    Experience in cost optimization strategies for cloud infrastructure.

    •    Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    •    Proven ability to mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
