Your future team

Holidu offers a software and service solution that helps hosts manage and distribute their properties more efficiently. As Country Lead Southern Italy, you will lead our Sales & Account Management teams in Italy South (Bari), Sardinia (Cagliari), and Sicily (Catania), and will act as direct manager for the Area Leads in these markets. Your teams assume responsibility for our inventory coverage in terms of property selection, best prices and quality, as well as our end-to-end business results (revenues, margin, profitability). You will report to the Head of Sales & Account Management Italy & Eastern Mediterranean. 

Your role in this journey

  • Take over responsibility for our supply in Italy South, Sardinia, and Sicily and be accountable for inventory growth, revenue targets, and the resulting P&L. 
  • Grow our inventory with a focus on adding high-quality, instantly bookable inventory in high-demand areas, in collaboration with the Head of Italy & East Med
  • Support the area leads in driving high team performance by visiting local offices, shadowing team members, providing coaching, and offering training opportunities to the local teams. 
  • Assist the area leads in identifying opportunities for further geographical presence in your markets. 
  • Recruit, train, and manage best-in-class Sales & Account Management teams alongside your Area Leads. 
  • Support the Head of Italy & East Med in implementing new company processes, tools, best practices in your markets.
  • Support the area leads in building a strong company presence in the local markets, streamline procedures, improve processes, and share best practices across teams
  • Build a community with other Country Heads and Leads, as well as Area Leads, to support mutual growth and knowledge exchange.

Your backpack is filled with

  • A successful track record in sales, account management, or  business development (several years of profound work experience). 
  • Profound experience in recruiting and leading high-caliber talent to world-class results. 
  • A keen ability to mentor, coach and motivate team members. 
  • A strong analytical and data-driven mindset to continuously optimise our approach towards inventory acquisition and our inventory itself. 
  • A sales-minded personality with strong communication and negotiation skills. 
  • A hungry but humble personality, setting ambitious targets while always trying to improve.
  • A strong understanding of technology and product development processes is a plus.
  • A degree in management, economics, tourism or related fields.
  • Near native Italian skills and fluent English skills, further language skills area plus.
